Henry V – Act Three Scene 7

The French camp before Agincourt. They are bragging about their armour and Horses. The Dauphin is quite foolish in his bragging about his horse

DAUPHIN

……  I
once writ a sonnet in his praise and began thus:
‘Wonder of nature,’—

 Luckily he is interrupted

When the Dauphins retires the other French Lords gossip about the Dauphin’s ability in battle.

RAMBURES

He longs to eat the English.

Constable

I think he will eat all he kills.

From Much ado about nothing.

Beatrice

I pray you, how many hath he
killed and eaten in these wars? But how many hath
he killed? for indeed I promised to eat all of his killing

The French, anxious for morning retire to arm themselves

ORLEANS

It is now two o’clock: but, let me see, by ten
